Eden Hazard changes his Goal Celebration Style
Eden Hazard quits his old style of goal celebration
Chelsea star Eden Hazard is renowned for sliding on his knees in goal celebrations, but the Belgium International is giving it up due to it’s negative effects on his body.
Eden Hazard claims that he will no longer display the knee-slide celebration due to the damage it is doing to his body.
Chelsea forward performed his normal goal celebration after scoring a brilliant and exceptional winner against Liverpool in the EFL Cup.
He nutmegged Roberto Firmino and Alberto Moreno before powering in a finish to complete a superb comeback for his team on Wednesday.
We would not be expecting to see his normal goal celebrations if he scores against Liverpool at Home today in the Premier League.
“Look, look, the celebration – the sliding knee,” Hazard said to Chelsea TV, gesticulating at his bruised legs. “I need to stop this.
“My knees – they are on fire! No more of this celebration.”
Eden Hazard has sometimes been accused of selfish play on the pitch but claims he always tries to make the right decision on the field of play.
“If I see that there is no solution, I go on my own,” Hazard said. “So, in my mind, it is just to make the right decision.”
Hazard’s form at the start of the 2018-19 premier league campaign has been so exceptional as he has already bagged six goals with a Hat-trick inclusive from his first seven appearances this season.
Chelsea are still yet to be beaten in all competitions this season and are just two points behind Liverpool who they will be facing today in the Premier League.
Chelsea fans will be hoping Hazard can come up with an intriguing display today to assist overshadow their rivals in the table.
We also hope to witness a new trademark celebration if he manages to add to his goalscoring tally in today’s encounter.
